On August 20th, 2009, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has signed a new regulation on honorary awards by the government
to the individuals or organizations abroad. Selected individuals and organizations, Power of Spirit Society being one of them,
have been recognized and awarded for keeping Ukrainian culture and traditions alive on a professional level, mastering the art
at which they have succeeded at.

Shortly before the Ukrainian Independence Day, Ukrainian National Palace "Ukraine" in Kyiv has held a festival "Lets Unite"
at which many ukrainian organizations abroad have participated to represent their achievements. Before the awards ceremony and concert
Viktor Yushchenko has individually greeted ukrainian activists present at the festival ranging from the United States of America, Canada,
Russia, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Germany and Spain. Dana Loun, a Creative Director and co-founder of the
"Power of Spirit Society Inc" with her husband Roman Loun, has been one of the award recipients at the festival. Please view the photo
